An "Atoms For Peace" traveling exhibit in Oak Ridge, in 1957. President Dwight D. Eisenhower launched an "Atoms for Peace" program that supplied equipment and information to schools, hospitals, and research institutions within the U.S. and throughout the world. A series of <propaganda?> posters against canned/mechanical music in cinemas from 1930. The profit-hungry evil robot musician somehow reminds me of Futurama's Robot Devil. Definitely go to the original article for more posters.
I also like the musicians vs. evil record/film industry flamewar cited in the original source:
300 musicians in Hollywood supply all the “music” offered in thousands of theatres. Can such a tiny reservoir of talent nurture artistic progress?

In 1910, French artist Villemard produced a series of illustrations depicting what life might be like in the year 2000. Yeah, he pretty much nailed it.
